the deal with PE

josh, tyler, and brad standing Pidgeon English is in many ways a record label with a philosophy. We think there are amazing musicians coming out of Raleigh, North Carolina (and Durham/Chapel Hill areas too - don't get us wrong...) and we want you to hear them. While our focus is on central North Cackalacki, PE is devoted to celebrating and supporting the phenomenon of independent music whereever it may occur. Our ultimate goal (other than us getting to hear good new music) is to help bring together communities of (people like us) musicians and people who like the shit out of good music - you know, rock 'n' roll without the capitalistic overtones.

Pidgeon English Records was founded by Tyler Kendall and Josh Bryant who wanted nothing more than to help some awesome bands find the recognition they deserve. Brad Farran (after receiving the hotly contended Merch Guy of the Month award a record three times in a row) joined the team in October 2002. One thing has led to another and thanks to support and help from lot's of great folks (eg, bside design), now, more than ever, we want to keep helping awesome bands rock on.
